Dorm Friendly Blueberry French Toast?!

French toast in the microwave? I can have french toast at any time that I want and from the microwave??!!!

This is a great recipe that is so simple and satisfies your sweet tooth. I loved this recipe and especially how good of a smell this recipe created. This recipe took all of five minutes and was delicious and super easy to make. The only thing I would add more of is cinnamon. Clearly the texture is not going to be just like normal french toast with the little bit of crunch but I actually really seemed to like the texture on this recipe. This tasted pretty much just like french toast and I bet I will be making it again. Many college students tend to skip breakfast which usually will not allow the student to have a good start to the day. Students tend to sleep later and actually not have time or not want to go to the dining hall to eat so they just don't eat. This recipe is much faster than going to the dining hall and does not require many ingredients at all and can allow for a student to have the right start to the day.

The recipe is:

1 egg

1 slice bread, cubed

1/4 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

2 tbsp milk

handful of blueberries

maple syrup, to drizzle

  1. Mix together the egg, cinnamon, milk, and vanilla.

  2. Add in half of the sliced bread and some blueberries and mix

  3. Add in the rest of the sliced bread and mix

  4. Microwave for about 1 1/2 minutes

  5. Drizzle with maple syrup
