Rattlesnake Pasta with Garlic Bread


 

Rattlesnake pasta originates from southern Italy, it is a delicious meal that is quick to make and contains a few ingredients. Its main ingredients are pasta, alfredo sauce, and chicken. Spices and vegetables can be modified to one’s liking or the amount desired. It contains a few ingredients, and it can be stored in the fridge if there are leftovers. It greatly pairs with warm garlic bread, adding more flavor and the perfect amount of crunch. Garlic bread also contains a few ingredients and can be made in less than 15 minutes!

Pasta:

1.    To get started, you need to prepare your chicken. Carefully chop the chicken breast into evenly tiny cubes. After you've completed this, put them away for the time being as you'll need them later


2.    Next, proceed with the vegetable preparation. Cut the garlic, bell pepper, and onions first. To ensure equal cooking, make sure to chop them into small, uniform pieces.

3.    Once that is finished, start cooking your pasta until it reaches the "Al Dente" consistency.




4.    Start sautéing the chicken until it's done while the pasta cooks.

5.    After cooking, remove from the heat. Vegetables should be sautéed

in a little olive oil in the same pan until they become soft and slightly crunchy.





6.    After it's finished, return the chicken and combine the two for approximately a minute. After that, put it back aside.



7.    After that's finished, drain the pasta very gently. Then, to keep it from sticking, drizzle it with some olive oil and place it in a big glass dish.

8.    Place your Alfredo sauce in a cast iron pan and let it simmer until it warms up. Once properly heated, add the pasta and give it a quick stir. After mixing, transfer the pasta to a bowl large enough to accommodate it.

9.    Depending on your preferences you can add the chicken together with the pasta or not.


 

Garlic bread:

  1. Grab two loads of french baguette. Lay them flat onto the cutting board and cut about 2 inch pieces. Then place the cut pieces vertically and cut down the pieces in half. Make sure to preheat the oven at 350 degrees fahrenheit.


2. Place the bread on a tray with parchment paper underneath and set aside.

3. Place one cup of butter onto a bowl and with a bigger bowl, place hot water. Place the bowl with the butter on top of the bowl with water and set aside to soften.

4. while the butter is softening, cut 2 tbsp of parsley into small pieces and place in a bowl. Cut up 2 tbsp of garlic cloves into very small pieces (minced) and place it in the same bowl.

5. Grab the warmed butter and place it in the bowl of parsley and minced garlic, mix it all together.




6. Once the mixture is complete, grab the precut bread and spread the butter with parsley and garlic onto the bread. Put on desired amount.

7. Once done spreading the butter onto the bread, place it in the oven for about 10 minutes or until it is at the desired level of crispiness. Once the 10 minutes are over, remove the garlic bread from the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of mozzarella cheese over all the pieces of bread. Place back in the oven for about 2 minutes to melt the cheese on top.

Serving size:1 scoop

Ingredients:

·      3 lbs. Chicken breast, cubed

·      2 Garlic cloves, minced

·      1 red bell peppers, diced

·      2 yellow onions, diced

·      24 oz. Penne pasta, drained

·      6 tbsp Olive oil

·      22.50 oz. Alfredo sauce

·      4 oz. Sliced jalapeños

·      1 tbsp. Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions:

  1. Prep and cook the chicken, then set aside.

  2. cut up the bell peppers, onions, parsley, and garlic.

  3. cook the chicken and add in the vegetables and spices.

  4. Boil the pasta and drain when cooked.

  5. Place chicken with vegetables in one bowl and the pasta with Alfredo sauce in a separate bowl.




Garlic Bread

Yield: 16 servings

Serving size: 1 slice of bread

Ingredients:

·      2 lbs. French baguette, sliced

·      1 cup unsalted butter, soft

·      2 tbsp parsley, chopped

·      2 tbsp garlic, minced

·      1 cup low-moisture whole milk mozzarella, shredded

Instructions:

1.    prep your bread and pan

2.    Preheat your oven to 350* degrees F.

3.    Slice your bread lengthwise and then place the bread cut side up

4.    get a small bowl to make your garlic butter

5.    in the small bowl mix your herbs and salt with softened butter

6.    once nicely mixed, spread evenly on all pieces of bread

7.    once done then place your pan with the slices of bread and leave it in the oven for 5-10 minutes depending on your preferences.
